WHERE I’M AT

It’s been a while since I’ve written on here – just over 3 months to be exact. For a few reasons. First of all, life just got busy. I started a new job, still within the NHS but now in management, which has taken up a lot of my focus and headspace. Secondly, I did a collaboration with Topshop (exciting!!) for which I had to keep their link in my Instagram bio for 2 months rather than the link to my blog – I figured if I couldn’t share/promote my posts there wasn’t much point in publishing them.

Writing and content creation in general, has always been therapeutic for me. Whilst I’ve loved creating and sharing photographic content on my Instagram, I’ve missed not writing on here. I’d love to say that I’m going to go back to writing and posting bi-monthly or at least monthly but if I’m being honest, I’m just not sure. God-willing, 2019 will see me marry the man I love as well as take some other some big and brave new steps, which will definitely require serious prioritisation of my time and resources.

I’m so grateful for those who God has surrounded me with, especially my hubby-to-be, who is forever pushing and motivating me, and for the experiences I’ve been exposed to in 2018. This past year I’ve realised that unless you are prepared to truly believe in yourself, make sacrifices, take risks and work your butt off, life will simply pass you by and your dreams will remain just that, dreams.

Whilst I definitely wish to reflect and meditate (something new I’ve started doing over the past few months!) more in the upcoming year, I’m just not sure of how often I will be able to publish my thoughts and feelings on this blog. One thing I am sure of however, is that I am praying and planning for nothing but growth and clarity for 2019.

Whether my next post is in 2 weeks or 2 months, I thought I’d start this new year by sharing where I’m at and my (unclear) thoughts on how I’m going to be using this platform going forward.

As always, I’m so so grateful for all who take the time to engage with my content. Wishing you all the best for 2019!
