As much as I adore the summer sun I love me some Autumn styling! Outwear, chunky knits and cute ankle boots – I mean what else could one want?!?

I’m definitely not for buying a whole new wardrobe every time the season changes, I mean I’ve got things I need to be saving for! So at the start of each new season I go through what I already have, decide what I’d like to keep for that season and sell the rest over on my Depop (check my page out to see what I still have for sale!).

Once I’ve done that, I make a note of what new additions I feel would complete my wardrobe for that season and try and stick to those when I go shopping. This way I can part-fund my new season shop and also ensure that I don’t end up with loads of oversized hoodies but no jackets for example.

I posted a new haul vlog over on my Instagram Stories last week sharing my new autumn purchases, I haven’t done one of those for a while and as always, I really enjoyed it! As I’m still hanging on to the minimalist vibe I aim to have timeless clothing pieces in my wardrobe that I can wear year on year, which allows me to focus on updating my outwear, footwear and accessories collection. Below I’ve got a few photos of each of my new items with direct links – enjoy!

Vlog outfit and outwear

Primark camel duster coat (in store) | Missy Empire navy duster jacket

For me, dusters are a staple and a great transitional piece for layering in Autumn. Both navy and camel are super easy colours to style and I especially love the pinstripe detail on the Missy Empire jacket.

Simmi nude heeled ankle boots | Vans black suede old skool trainers

This season is trainer and boot season for me, it’s too cold to wear anything else as far as I’m concerned! I opted for a pair of nude boots which I’ve had my eye on for some time and black and white Vans which I know I can wear daily.

New Look black backpack| H&M black pebbled side bag| Primark black croc side bag (in store)

I’ve added a few colourful statement bags to my collection over the summer, as you’ll see on my Instagram. So after selling a few black ‘everyday’ bags that I no longer wear on my Depop, I thought I’d add a few more that I know I’ll get a lot of use out of! For some, black can be a bit boring, but I love having a good few black bags that I know will go with pretty much every outfit.

As mentioned at the end of my vlog, I’ve joined an app called Looker which allows you to post your outfits or new finds alongside direct links for your followers to shop from. It’s a great little app as you can select up to 20 people to follow who then become your ‘style team’ and essentially hunt down great fashion finds on your behalf. It’s super easy to use and great for getting some fashion inspo. If you like my looks, download the app, search ‘Rianna Mara’ and add me to your team!
